Belgrade, 24-26 juin 2013: Séminaire régional de lutte contre le terrorisme
Du 24 au 26 juin 2013, a eu lieu à Belgrade un Séminaire international sur la lutte contre le terrorisme, organisé par Paxton Equity en relation avec l’Ambassade de France en Serbie. Ce séminaire était centré sur une approche globale du terrorisme allant des moyens de financement du terrorisme jusqu’aux interventions orchestrées par les unités spéciales.
Le séminaire a réuni les responsables des unités de forces spéciales des pays des Balkans avec en particulier : SAJ et PTJ (Serbie), ainsi que les unités spéciales de Macédoine, Bosnie, Croatie, Monténégro et Albanie.
Les experts français spécialisés dans la lutte contre le terrorisme et le blanchiment d’argent étaient les intervenants principaux au cours de ce séminaire.
Parmi les participants étaient présents M. Olivier RICHARDOT, Chef adjoint du RAID (Unité d’élite de la police nationale française), M. Jean-Pierre DESPRES, Commissaire divisionnaire, attaché de Sécurité Intérieure auprès de l’Ambassade de France en Serbie, Mr François-Xavier Deniau, Ambassadeur de France en Serbie, M. Ivica DACIC, Premier Ministre et Ministre de l’intérieur de Serbie, M. Milorad VELJOVIC, directeur de la Police Serbe, M. Miodrag MILJKOVIC, Secrétaire d’Etat du Ministère de l’Intérieur Serbe et M. Eric BLANCHETETE, Président de Paxton Equity.
Le Premier Ministre Serbe, Mr Ivica DACIC a souligné, dans son discours d’ouverture, l’excellente coopération qui existe entre le Ministère de l’intérieur Serbe et la Police française et les unités d’élite françaises.

Au cours de ce séminaire du 24 au 26 juin, les participants ont eu l’occasion de visiter les unités SAJ et PTU dans le but de mieux faire connaitre les méthodes de travail de ces unités d’élites Serbes.
Le séminaire a rendu possible l’échange de bonnes pratiques en matière de lutte contre le terrorisme.
Paxton Equity, société qui œuvre depuis bientôt 3 ans au renforcement des relations économiques entre la France et la Serbie, a organisé ce séminaire en relation avec l’Ambassade de France en Serbie afin de contribuer au rayonnement de la France en Serbie mais aussi renforcer les relations franco-serbes et souligner l’importance de la coopération entre les pays dans les balkans.

7th March 2013: Paxton Equity 2nd Anniversary
On March 7, 2013, Paxton Equity celebrated second anniversary of its operations in Serbia.
At the cocktail held in company premises, Mr. Eric Blanchetete, President of the company and his team welcomed number of reputable representatives of diplomatic (Ambassador of Switzerland, H.E. Mr. Jean Daniel Ruch and Mr. Olivier Remond, Head of Economic Department of the Embassy of France among others), and foreign business community in Serbia, business partners and friends.
Addressing the guests, Mr. Blanchetete mentioned the most notable achievements of the company that has brought more than 15 million Euros in investments, created more than 250 jobs for people in Serbia and significantly contributed to promotion of Serbia and its economic potential through different presentations given in France and other countries.
Paxton Equity, acting as consulting company with its major focus on operational aspects of business, during the two years, acting under its motto of advising & doing has performed several important assignments, from:
• establishing the complete operation for the biggest French investment in Serbia in recent years – Mecaplast Factory in Zrenjanin,
• EBRD assignment on improvement of commercial performance of Čačanska banka,
• Supporting the initial business operation setup for many other companies (JLB-SOULIER, etc.) in Serbia.
Mr. Blanchetete also noted that the company will remain dedicated on improving the economic cooperation between Serbia and France and also continue to contribute on bringing new investors from abroad to Serbia and assist them in establishing and developing their future operations.
3rd April 2012: Mecaplast factory opened in Zrenjanin
The opening ceremony for the factory, the biggest French investment in Serbia over the last two years, was attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic, Chairman of the Mecaplast Group Thierry Manni, Foreign Minister for the Principality of Monaco Jose Badia, French Ambassador to Serbia Xavier Deniau, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic and President of the government of the Serbian Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic.
After the Serbian president, Mecaplast’s representatives and the French ambassador delivered their addresses at the opening ceremony, the officials unveiled a plaque to mark the important event.
The factory in Zrenjanin has seen a EUR 10 million in investment so far. The two facilities of the production plant occupy about 5,900 square meters of space.
By the end of 2013, in its first operation phase, the factory should hire a total of 120 workers. The majority of products from the factory will be for Fiat 500 cars.
Mecaplast Group was founded in Monaco in 1955. At the time, there were only five employees working, in a flat and a 15 square metre cellar in the heart of Monte Carlo.
Today, the company’s manpower counts 5,500 in 15 countries across the globe, with annual sales turnover reaching as much as EUR 643 million.
